Kanye West Throws Out All Expensive Funiture He Bought For His Home

Kanye West has thrown out all the expensive furniture in his new home with Kim Kardashian by celebrity interior designer Sandy Gallin.

According to the New York Post, West hired powerful talent manager-turned-designer to the stars Gallin to decorate their Calabasas, Calif., home and “spent nearly all of his money” on furniture — including a one-off $30,000 couch — and then decided he hated it all.
A source told the publication
“Kanye walked into the house, decided he hated all the furniture brought in by Gallin, and demanded it be returned to the vendors. But they refused to take it back, so he took it all out and threw it into storage. He then spent a fortune on a new set of furniture.”
 West has since hired Axel Vervoordt to spruce up their home, but Kardashian is growing impatient.
“Kanye spends so much money and he’s holding everything up. The house still isn’t ready. Kim just wants to be settled at home, especially after everything that happened in Paris,” the source added.

Dwarf Groom Brings His Specially-Made Ladder To Wed His Bride In Church

A 3ft 7ins groom took his own specially-made stepladder to church so he could stand next to his bride on his wedding day.

James Lusted, 28, who has a rare genetic dwarfism condition, used a four-step wooden ladder to climb up next to his 5ft 7in bride Chloe.

The pair then stood eye-to-eye as they exchanged marriage vows in front of family and friends.The newlyweds then shared a kiss, as Mr Lusted stood on the step.

FG Transfers Presidential Lodge to Lagos

Buhari’s approval followed Ambode’s request to release the presidential lodge to the Lagos State Government in its bid to transform the Marina-Onikan axis into a world-class arts and tourism hub.

A statement by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Steve Ayorinde, said yesterday that Ambode commended the president for approving the transfer of the Presidential Lodge in Marina to the state government.

Ambode said that Buhari’s “keen admiration for Lagos State as the centre of excellence that is well suited to becoming Africa’s foremost hub for arts, entertainment and tourism”.

“It would be redeveloped to The Heritage Centre for Leadership, which would subsequently be redesigned and equipped as a landmark research and tourist arena that will be open to local and international visitors”.

Protest As Lagos Bans LAGBUS From Plying Ikorodu Road

Residents of Ikorodu community in Lagos state are currently staging a protest following the decision of the state government to ban the LAGBUS(red buses) from plying their route which already has the BRT (blue buses) plying it.

Acting Commissioner for Transportation, Prince Anofiu Olanrewaju Elegushi, at a press conference on Friday, said the decision was taken ahead of plans to introduce Intelligent Traffic System along the BRT corridor in the state.

First Female US Attorney General Janet Reno Dies

The first woman to be US attorney general, Janet Reno, has died at home in Miami from complications linked to Parkinson's disease.

Ms Reno, 78, was at the centre of several political crises while serving under President Bill Clinton between 1993 and 2001.

She was criticised for a deadly raid on the Branch Davidian cult compound in Waco, Texas after just weeks in office.

New York Politician Arrested For Beating Her 12 Year Old Son With A Broom

A state assemblywoman Diana Richardson, from Brooklyn has been arrested after her injured 12-year-old son accused her of hitting him with a broomstick, ­police sources said.

Richardson faces charges of assault, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing after she admitted beating her son sources said.



Her son, who is not being named, had walked into the NYPD's 71st Precinct on Friday night where he showed officers a contusion on his arm, New York Post reports.

Pastor Arrested In Ogun State For Raping His Own Daughter

A pastor of a Celestial Church of Christ in Abeokuta, Michael Adeniran, has been arrested for allegedly defiling and impregnating a 15-year-old daughter of a member of his church.
Police Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State command, Abimbola Oyeneye, told PREMIUM TIMES on Sunday that the complainant, who is the mother of the girl, was reported to be the suspect’s lover.
“The shepherd was arrested Saturday 5th of November following a complaint from the mother of the girl who incidentally happened to be the suspect’s lover,” said Mr. Oyeyemi.
According to him,the complainant had found her daughter pregnant, and after intense
interrogation, revealed that the pastor was responsible for it.

UNIOSUN Sacks Lecturer Involved In Sex Video

The Governing Council of the Osun State University, Osogbo, has terminated the appointment of Dr. Olabode Ojoniyi of the Department of Languages and Linguistics, Ikire Campus, caught on video having an amorous relationship with one of his students, Mercy Ikwue.

Punch gathered on Sunday that the Governing Council headed by Mallam Yusuf Ali SAN, sacked the lecturer, who appeared nude  on a bed  in a hotel room and caressing Miss Ikwue.


A member of the Governing Council confirmed the sacking of Ojoniyi in Osogbo on Sunday.

Apart from the member of the Governing Council, three other lecturers including two professors confirmed to a Punch correspondent that Ojoniyi had been sacked.
Ojoniyi’s sex act was captured in a video which is believed to have been surreptitiously recorded by the female student.

A woman has cried out after losing a job because of her tattoos. Kelly Andrews was interviewed for a front-of-house position at the Earl of Doncaster Hotel in Doncaster and says she was basically offered the job that day.
The 33-year-old received an email afterwards asking her to come in again to go through the role and meet other members of staff,Metro UK reports.

Kelly, a mother of three, started arranging childcare for her two-year-old daughter. She even turned two other jobs because of her offer at the Earl.
