Now that gay marriage is legal in the United States, it comes as no surprise that the issue came up during President Buhari’s current visit to the United States. Some Nigerians are of the opinion that Big Brother US will try to force the legalization of gay marriage on Nigeria in exchange for their help eliminating Boko Haram & economic assistance.
But PMB quickly shut down any talk of legalizing gay Marriage in Nigeria when it was raised yesterday during a joint session with the Senate and House Committees on Foreign Affairs.

The issue of gay marriage came up here yesterday. PMB was point blank. Sodomy is against the law in Nigeria, and abhorrent to our culture.
