Kim Kardashian has finally debunked the idea that she gets annoyed by her little sister,Kylie copying her. She wrote on her blog
'Kylie and I laugh so hard at this all the time, because people always want to pit us against each other,' I think it's amazing - there's no one else I would want to be in the same business with than my sister.'
Kim insists that the pair have a give and take relationship, explaining:
 'She teaches me so much, and I teach her so much'.
However despite the 35-year-old's kind words, it is undeniable that Kylie takes inspiration from her big sister - in every way possible

How A Lagos Job Seeker Was Raped By A Bus Driver And Conductor

Mercy (pseudonym)a 22-year-old job seeker was recently raped by a commercial bus driver, Akeem and his conductor, Sodiq around Costain, in Lagos.

Akeem and Sodiq allege dly  picked up   Mercy  from the Obalende area, and were supposed to head for the Victoria Island where the victim  had a job interview.

Mercy, who hails from Benue State, on March 10, had been called by a friend to attend the job interview, Punch Newspaper reports that the suspects allegedly diverted the bus to  Costain, Iponri area, assuring their victim that they were only taking a different route to the island.
When the bus got to Costain, under the bridge, the four allegedly robbed Mercy of her Automated Teller Machine card, her purse and other documents. The suspects also allegedly raped the lady before driving off.

Meet West Africa’s First Frozen Egg Baby

The first frozen egg baby in Nigeria has been born. The epoch-making event was recorded in a Lagos fertility clinic; the Bridge Clinic and the baby was from the frozen egg of a 44-year old woman. Asides being the first frozen egg baby to be born in Nigeria, the male child, named Tiwatope who was born on February 16th 2016, is also the first baby born through this process in West Africa.
Egg freezing is one of the ground breaking fertility solutions in modern day motherhood. Basically, egg freezing is a process in which a woman’s egg is extracted, frozen and stored. Later, when she is ready to become pregnant, the eggs can be thawed, fertilized, and transferred to her uterus as an embryo which she can deliver like every normal baby.

A fertility specialist at the Bridge Clinic Dr. Emmanuel Owie explained the process saying:

“Tiwatope’s mother had her eggs frozen for two months, using the vitrification, also known as flash-freezing, process. This is the cutting edge technology in cryobiology, where the eggs or oocytes of a woman is dehydrated and the water content is replaced with ‘anti-freeze’ solution (cryoprotectants) before freezing. This will prevent the formation of ice crystals which could destroy the cell.

We fertilized the eggs using a standard technique known as intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) to overcome the egg shell which normally gets hardened with freezing. The fertilized egg was subsequently transferred into her womb, resulting in the pregnancy with Tiwa. She had her antenatal care in her family hospital and delivered the baby boy through Caesarian Section”

The Bridge clinic center hopes that this would profer an alternative for Nigerian women who travel to India and Europe to get their eggs freezed.

There are about 5000 babies who have been born from frozen eggs with a proven low risk of birth defects. Women freeze their eggs if they will undergo Chemotherapy or face radiation which usually causes infertility. Some others choose to do it for family planning reasons or when menopause is getting closer, or just for other personal reasons.

 Zimbabwean woman believes she her daughter is Jesus Christ.The woman identified as Mrs Entrance Nyanyete, had left residents of Mudzimu Unoyera Sect in Chatiza Village, Mashonaland Central’s Guruve District of Zimbabwe to believe the Messiah lives among them.

On Good Friday, March 25, 2016 when journalists visited her home, she was not around but they met her mother Mai Maria (Mother Mary) who actually confessed that she forgot that Easter was just days away.

Her husband, known as “Baba Josefa” (Father Joseph), added:

    “You came here to ask about our Easter celebrations. See how painful it is to her? It is painful to celebrate because this is the day Jesus was killed.”

 The gathering once again sang as one follower, Mary, wiped “Mai Maria’s” tears and sprinkled deodorant on her clothes, Sunday Mail reported.
Mai Maria said Jesus died 2,000 years ago and was reincarnated as Emmanuel Dzanagare Mudyiwa in 1939. Mudyiwa died in 1989 and the spirit entered her then six-year-old daughter, Tepsy Nyanyete, in 1998.

The sect believes Nyanyete, now 24, is Jesus, and refer to her as Jepsy Nyanyete, Jekia Mambo, Tenzi or Ishe Jesu. Zimbabweans have come to know her as ‘Girl Jesus’.

The followers are so faithful despite the arrest of “Mai Maria” and “Baba Josefa” years back for assaulting police officers who were rescuing 160 children at the shrine.
    Mrs Nyanyete said: “For us, every Friday is Easter and we remember how they killed my child many years back. We celebrate it in our own way, with our own rituals, which include crying, singing and dancing.

  

“We are, however, grateful that Jesus came back, and this time, she will not die. She is not going away anymore. She is set to live forever and rule the earth.”

“I had forgotten that it is Easter. You have actually reminded me of my child’s death. This is actually one of the most painful times of my life as it reminds me of the time white people overseas killed my child.”
 She led the newsmen to ‘Jesus’ bedroom where a cot, diapers, baby clothes and blankets were neatly arranged and explained that her ‘Jesus’daughter had a great passion for dolls.

Gideon Yobo, 32, and his wife Blessing, are celebrating having their “miracle” baby after defying an array of medical risks during Pregnancy 23,they are now safely back at their home in Redbrook Way, Heaton, with their son Caleb, who was born at Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI) earlier this month.

Doctors had warned against Mrs Yobo falling pregnant due to her being diagnosed with lupus, an incurable illness affecting the immune system, and being affected by kidney problems.

Despite periods of being “very ill” during her pregnancy, Caleb was born healthy, and the national charity Lupus UK said while it did not advise high-risk pregnancies for people with active lupus, the Yobo’s story was “wonderful” to hear.

Puff Daddy plans to give back to his community in a special way, he announced plans to open a charter school in Harlem. The business mogul, who was born in the NYC neighborhood, will launch Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School this fall.

Foreign Airline Plan To Sack 2000 Nigerian Workers

The National Union of Air Transport Employees ,NUATE, has revealed plan by foreign airlines to sack about two thousand (2,000) Nigerian workers. According to the group, the move is due to the airline’s their inability to transfer their earnings to their respective home countries to meet operational costs in accordance with international rules because of new Central Bank of Nigeria , CBN, policy on forex and fund transfer.

In a letter addressed to the Minister of State for Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika and made available to newsmen, Acting General Secretary of NUATE, Comrade Olayinka Abioye said the plan has destabilize the affected workers, adding that the Federal Government should wade in and prevent the huge job loss.
