Police Officer Allegedly Rapes 15-Year Old Girl At Gun Point, Detains Her Afterwards

A police inspector attached to Mkpat Enin Police Division in Akwa Ibom State has allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl at gunpoint. The victim, a senior secondary pupil of Community Secondary School in the area, on Tuesday said she was returning from church on Thursday, last week, when a police team accosted her.

She explained that the inspector pointed his gun at her, saying if she tried to stop him from touching her he would shoot her.

She said the inspector then led her away from other members of the team to a dark portion of the road. The policeman then forcefully caressed her breasts, saying “small you possess these types of breasts”, she said.

She added, “After he had forced me to remove my clothes, he ordered me to lie down and open my legs. And what I noticed was that he brought out his penis and inserted it into my vagina....

“As he was romping over me, he forbade me crying as he threatened to shoot me if I should open my mouth.

“But when I could not bear the pains any longer as blood was running out of my private part, he quickly took me into the vehicle and drove to the station, where he detained me from Thursday till Saturday.

Gang Rape Survivor Raped Again By Same Accused

Five Indian men allegedly gang-raped a 20-year-old for the second time in three years - in retaliation for her refusal to drop charges stemming from the first attack, police said.

The student,a member of the "untouchable" caste had moved to a different city to escape her attackers, who were on the run after the first assault in 2013. Two of the men had been arrested and released on bail, but the other three were never even charged.

But Wednesday, the sickos tracked her down at college. As soon as she spotted them, she knew it wouldn't end well.

"I got scared seeing them. They forcefully pushed me inside the car. They were the same men who had raped me earlier," she told police, according to The Telegraph.

The five attackers brutally raped her in a vehicle and left her unconscious on the side of the road with her clothing in tatters.

Following the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari to the new acting IGP asking him to re-open the case of a slain former Attorney General of the Federation, Bola Ige, former deputy governor of Osun State, Iyiola Omisore, who is presently at EFCC’s custody says he is happy about the President’s order, saying the new investigation will sure vindicate him and show his hands are clean.

It will be recalled that Omisore was a key suspect in the case years back and was detained for months as the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo made efforts to find the killers.

Bill Cosby is said to be completely blind after suffering from a degenerative eye condition.

The comedian is reportedly housebound and living "in his own personal hell", with only his wife Camille for support, as he prepares to face trial over allegations of s3xual assault.

Cosby, 79, used a cane and held the arm of an associate as he arrived for a preliminary hearing earlier this month. A source told the New York Post's Page Six: "His alleged victims may take some solace in the fact that he's in his own personal hell.

"He has been suffering a degenerative eye disease and is completely blind. All his Hollywood friends have turned their backs on him."

Cosby is believed to be suffering from keratoconus, a condition that cause the cornea to bulge.

LASU Suspends 25 Students For Examination Malpractice

The authorities of the Lagos State University, Ojo, have suspended 25 students for their alleged involvement in examination malpractice.

Nine of the students were from the Department of Business Administration while five were from the Department of Sociology, a statement from the university said on Tuesday.

It added that three of the students were from the Department of Political Science while four were from the Public Administration department.

The university made this known in a statement by its Head, Centre for Information, Press and Public Relations, Mr. Martin Adekoya.
