Alleged Rape: PFN Declears Biodun Fatoyinbo's Probe Inclusive

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has just revealed that the embattled founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo has severally shunned their invitations to appear before a five-member panel set up to investigate the rape accusation leveled against him by by one Busola Dakolo.

As a result, the PFN has therefore declared its probe into the rape accusation as inconclusive.

The PFN National Publicity Secretary Bishop Emma Isong disclosed this to this press moments ago in Lagos.

Isong stated that Busola and his husband, Timi Dakolo, however, appeared before the panel.

Boris Johnson faced embarrassment last night after his girlfriend was barred from visiting the United States.

Carrie Symonds, 31, applied for a visa to go to America in the next few days as part of her job with a US-based environmental group, but the American authorities have blocked the request.

It is believed the decision stems from a five-day visit made last year by Miss Symonds to East Africa, a region riven by civil war.

The Prime Minister's girlfriend went with her friend Nimco Ali, a campaigner against female genital mutilation, who was born in Somaliland.


During their trip, they met the self-declared Somaliland president Muse Bihi Abdi to discuss women's issues and sea pollution.

The UK is among a handful of nations who have diplomatic relations with Somaliland, which broke away from neighbouring Somalia in 1991.

But crucially, the US – which backs Somalia – does not.

EFCC storms Ambode's house in Lagos

Officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, this morning stormed the residence of the former Lagos state governor, Mr Akinwumi Ambode.

Report from TheCable has it that the officers are currently raiding his residence.

Recall that the commission last three weeks ago froze three bank accounts containing the total sum of N9.9bn linked to the immediate past Governor of Lagos State.

27 year old OAU graduate set to become a commissioner in Oyo state

Oyo state governor Seyi Makinde has proven that the young men of oyo state are capable to handle the affairs of the state.

First it was 31-year-old Adebo Ogundoyin who emerged as the state’s house of assembly speaker and now 27-year-old Seun Fakorede recently nominated as a commissioner by Governor Seyi Makinde.

 

Fakorede is a graduate of  civil engineering from  Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) class of 2016 . 

1. He is also an entrepreneur, consultant and author who runs Home Advantage Africa (HAA), a non-profit organization devoted to promoting local dominance and global stardom in Africa through digital storytelling and other projects .

 He was nominated to become one of the state’s commissioner alongside Alhaja Faosat Joke Sunni and Professor Rapheal Afonja.

If successfully screened by the state’s assembly, they will be joining 14 others inaugurated last week.
