Married teacher, Lauren Cox, 27, has admitted five counts of s3x charge with a child in her care, she screamed and said ‘I’m sorry’ to her family as she was led to the cells.

EFCC Still Keeping Fani Kayode Despite Meeting Bail Conditions- Aide

Jude Ndukwe, aide to former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode today decried that despite meeting the bail conditions set by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Fani-Kayode was still being held by the anti-graft agency. He released a statement expatiating on this which reads thus;

“This tactics of keeping key and vocal members of the opposition out of circulation without due regard to our laws and or harass them with charges that cannot stand the test of judicial requirements has got to stop. The sweet smelling savour of democracy will be polluted when the opposition is stifled.

“The continued detention of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode in EFCC custody for this long, despite meeting his bail conditions goes a long way to show that this fight is not about corruption after all, but all about silencing the opposition.

US Senate Confirms Gay Man As Army Secretary

US Senate on Tuesday confirmed Eric Fanning as the new secretary of the Army quietly making history by putting the first openly gay person in the post.

Fanning was confirmed unanimously on a voice vote. He previously filled a number of senior positions in the Department of Defense, including acting undersecretary of the Army, special assistant to Defense Secretary Ashton Carter and undersecretary of the Air Force.

President Barack Obama nominated Fanning in September, but his confirmation was delayed because of politics. Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) put a hold on his nomination in November over his opposition to Obama’s push to close the prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and transfer prisoners to facilities in the United States. In the meantime, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), who chairs the Armed Services Committee, refused to give Fanning a hearing because he was irked that Fanning was serving as acting Army secretary while his confirmation was pending.

Covenant Bassey, the nanny, who abducted one-year-old David Robinson in Calabar, has been arrested by the police after a manhunt.

Bassey had fled her employer’s home in the Satellite Town area of Calabar on Friday, taking David along and carting away other valuables.

David’s mum, Mrs. Uche Robinson, confirmed the arrest of Bassey and rescue of her son in a Facebook post.

The post read, “David has been found Hallelujah… I want to say a very big thank you to all who showed concern with their prayers,test messages,media post/shares and tags during this hard time of looking for my son. David and the nanny were found today at Trailer Park, Onne, where she was trying to sell the baby…”

Commotion Breaks Out In House Of Rep Over Fuel Hike

Commotion broke out at the house of representatives on Monday over a motion to admit Ibe Kachikwu, minister of state for petroleum, into the green chamber. Kachikwu was expected to explain the reason for the hike in the price of petrol from N86.5 to N145. Femi Gbajabiamila, leader of the house, had moved the motion for the lower legislative chamber to admit Kachikwu into its fold. But when Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the house, put the motion to a voice vote, a majority of the members chorused “nay”, protesting against allowing Kachikwu into the chamber. But Dogara ruled against the majority voice which sparked a shouting match, disrupting the proceedings. Some members soon started chanting: “All we are saying, save Nigeria.” This continued for about ten minutes. The speaker tried to calm frayed nerves, but members in both the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) divide continued to square off in a non-violent brawl. While APC members of the house shouted “change”, their PDP counterparts chanted “shame” apparently in derision. When normalcy was restored, Dogara called on Leo Ogor, deputy minority leader, to make his submission. Ogor suggested that the house should go into an executive session and his recommendation was upheld.

Some Percentage Of Women Can Get Pregnant Through Anal Sex

Doctors have disproved the idea that women can't get pregnant by having anal sex. Urologist Dr Brian Steixner revealed he treated a patient who conceived after having sex with her partner. She had a rare condition called 'cloacal malformation' which affects one in 50,000 people.

It happens when the rectum, vagina and urethra fail to separate into three tubes and bodily fluids drain into one channel.

The woman had an operation when she was younger to fix the problem – but it went wrong and left a tiny hole connecting her womb to the rectum. She was left shocked after becoming pregnant and admitted her anal escapades to Dr Steixner.

He said: "We knew about her condition, and we had followed her for a decade. After doing a whole bunch of X-rays, we determined that she got pregnant from having anal sex."
